Abstract

COVID-19 is a viral infection, which fever, asthenia, myalgia, headache, dyspnea, are the most common clinical manifestations. A fifty-year-old patient with complaints of arthralgia, edema, erythema, hyperalgesia, and heat sensitivity in both hands. Concurrently, edema and erythema in the first toes bilaterally.
Concomitant swelling and erythema in the first toes bilaterally. He associates these symptoms with the SARS-CoV-2 infection, diagnosed two weeks before they appeared. The physical examination during the medical appointment was normal. The investigation of a possible autoimmune, vascular, or coagulation disorder etiology was inconclusive. Thus, the temporal evolution and type of skin lesions presented allow us to establish a connection with a post-COVID condition.
Knowledge about skin manifestations associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection was essential for the diagnosis of this asymptomatic case of COVID-19.
